“The Ultimate Gift”

I painted this piece April 6, 2020, (the night before Easter) I had an image in my head and had to bring it to life on canvas.

It was a crazy time in the world and I just wanted to create a powerful piece, something that would move people and spread love and remembrance.

Using my palette knives to blend colors and layers to create a brilliant sunset/sunrise and three crosses to remind us of his Ultimate Gift to us.

After working on it for HOURS I knew when it was done, all the lights were off in my room except for my easel light, I stepped back and looked at what I had created and it took my breath away, I literally started crying. I could not believe what I had created and knew the name of the painting was “The Ultimate Gift”

Because this image in my head was my gift to bring to light.

I have had offers from people to purchase this piece in the past but I wasn’t ready to let it go until just recently, Now it’s time for someone else to love and enjoy it.

There is a tiny angel in the bottom right hand corner, I didn’t see it until someone pointed it out about a year after I had completed it, what a beautiful hidden message, a reminder that we all have guardian angels watching over us.

The Energy of this piece is unbelievable, I’ve taken it to shows and people stand in front of it just staring, sometimes with a hand over their chest and tears in their eyes and always say how powerful it is to them.
